Hello! I’m Sakimichi!
I started reading visual novels way back in 2006. The group Deja Vu introduced me wonderful translated Doujin Games. They were not eroge, in fact, most of their release had solid story telling yet simple backgrounds.

Then I stumbled into insani, another translation group and spent my time reading all their released from their Al|Together events.

Growing up, I began liking games with great character design. Otome game translation was scarce, that the only option I had left was to play bishoujo games. You guessed it, H-games. Well I never got hooked, but I kept playing anyway to waste some time. There were a few of them that I really loved. Planetarian, Narcissu and True Remembrance.

I formed a scanlation group after that, and lasted for just half a year, since my math grades were dropping horribly that I almost got kicked out during my last year as a high school student. Well that’s what I get for neglecting real life~

Then when I heard about Ren Py engine, I decided to make Otome Games for myself, but again real life kept me busy.

Then I made an animu blog thanks to Netto for hosting.

I wandered around aimlessly looking for fun, and then I stumbled on sharing forums and some of my friends [especially Renano], thought me how to play with ITH. So I made a tumblr blog and ranted all the way, but it wasn’t Google friendly. That would render all my tutorials useless, also a lot of unfriendly fangirls would rant in tumblr about spoilers so I made this blog. I apologize if you find it too troublesome to go back and forth between my tumblr and my wordpress site.

I support indie game makers and buy games online if my money could afford it.  Sometime in the future, I would release my game as well. But that can wait.

Fast forward 2022 and I landed on a decent job, I managed to buy most of my wishlist items and I’ve moved on from other stuff including my long time special someone. I’m not spending a lot of my time volunteering unlike before, cuz I’m trying to survive society. If I have free time (usually around 1 hour or less), I still dabble into Visual Novels regardless of the sub genre.
